PLANNING A FESTIVAL
The outline plan for a residential Festival takes into consideration the ECB playing regulations and, in addition, merges the planning role of the team manager and the coach.
The proposed scheme allows for coaching before, during and after the game and designates coaching on days when not playing cricket games .

SUNDAY Arrive after lunch - light training
Parent session - the role of the parent in caring for the player

Evening - Question and answer session to allow Coaches and managers to set the Festival tone

MONDAY Formal presentation of caps
Cricket -50 over innings ; games to be played in 4 quarters with time outs.

TUESDAY One Game -sides a v b
Coaching - sides c and d
Coaching timetable - morning -two 90 minute sessions.
- afternoon e.g. inter Regional competitions - throwing at a stump.
Evening - groups c and d to off site activity e.g. Bowling Alley

WEDNESDAY Day off from playing cricket- visit to a game with coaches.
