Sadly the wicket which had played superbly well during the Bunbury Festival - just 4 strips away - was not of the usual high standard.

On day one it was bouncing over the keeper's head for 4 byes and on day 2 it was shooting along the ground.

The hospitality offered by the club was of the usual high standard and the South Region are very grateful for the support of the Club and ,

in particular, to Mrs Jan Smith who produces such a high standard of quality food.

The tourists travel to Loughborough today - Saturday- still hoping to receive their elusive kit.
