The following formats were followed for the 2008 Festivals - they wil be reviewed and an under 16 format created

Regional Under 15’s Festival

Overs	50 overs per innings
Overs per bowler	Maximum of 10 Subject to fast Bowling Directives Reduced in a rain affected match
Timings	10:30 am start 50 minutes lunch break between innings (reduced if rain affected)
Interrupted matches	Overs calculated as taking 4 minutes, relating to time remaining When calculating there will be 2 overs between innings Revised targets will be calculated using the Duckworth/Lewis formula
Drinks	After 17 and 34 overs (Coaches may take up to 10 minutes to discuss the match at each break)
Powerplay	First 15 overs Only 2 fielders outside the circle of 30 yards 2 catchers 15 yards from the batsman
No balls/Wides	Strict consistent interpretation when calling ‘wides’ Free hit for a front foot ‘no ball’ One fast, shart pitched (above shoulder height) delivery per over
Result	4 points for a win 2 points for a tie/no result 0 points for loss
Bonus Point	A bonus point will be awarded to a team which scores at 1.25 the run rate (runs per over) of the opposition Run rate for a team bowled out in less than 50 overs will be calculated over full 50.

Regional Under 17’s Festival

Overs per bowler	Maximum of 10 overs per bowler Subject to the fast Bowling Directives
Timings	10:30 am start 50 minutes lunch break between innings (reduced if rain affected)
Interrupted matches	Overs calculated as taking 4 minutes, relating to time remaining When calculating there will be 2 overs between innings Revised targets will be calculated using the Duckworth/Lewis formula
Drinks	After 17 and 34 overs
Powerplay	First – 1^st 10 overs compulsory (2 fielders only outside 30 yard circle/2 catchers at 15 yards) Second and third at fielding team captain’s discretion during remainder of innings Second and third for 5 overs each One set of 5 overs with 3 fielders outside the circle One set of 5 overs with 2 fielders outside the circle
No balls/Wides	Strict consistent interpretation when calling ‘wides’ Free hit for a front foot ‘no ball’ One fast, shart pitched (above shoulder height) delivery per over
Result	4 points for a win 2 points for a tie/no result 0 points for loss
